Data we collect
When you submit a contact form we process your name, email address, optional preferred date, selected consultation type, and message content. Server logs may record IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security. If you accept analytics cookies, we may process pseudonymous usage data as described on the cookies page.
Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to inquiries and scheduling consultations (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where steps toward a contract are requested, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interest in answering messages).
- Operating and securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Optional analytics only with consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Retention
Inquiry emails and form records are kept for up to 24 months unless a longer retention is required for accounting or an ongoing engagement. Server logs are typically rotated within 90 days. Consent records for cookies are retained until you change your choice or we renew the banner version.
Recipients
Hosting and email providers acting as processors may store data on our behalf under contracts. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
If a processor stores data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses together with supplementary measures where required.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection where applicable under the GDPR. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the German Land where you reside or where we are established.
